Other: How to choose the right size of your LCD/Plasma tv

It is really challenging to choose the right size of a LCD TV. While most consumers want to have the biggest, it is not necessary and definitely not recommended if the space is not sufficient enough to have a pleasant view on your LCD. Here are four questions that you have to ask yourself before choosing the size of the TV.:

Step 1 How big is the space where I'm going to locate my TV? This is the critical factor to determine the tvscreen's size.

Step 2 When is it comfortable for the viewer to watch? Place all furniture areas which makes the viewer most comfortable to witch. Start with current location of the furniture and see if this set-up is still good for an LCD television.

Step 3 What is the distance between the viewing area to the location of the TV? The distance from the viewing area to the television will have to be calculated. A 35 (90 cm) -inch LCD television or smaller should be viewed from approximately 10 feet (3 m) away. Larger screens need a larger, deeper viewing distance. A 60 (150 cm) -inch LCD screen should be viewed from approximately 15 feet (4.5 m) to 20 feet (6 m) feet away.

Step 4 From which angle will the TV be viewed? Some Televisions offer better viewing angles from the seating area than other ones. Viewing angle is the angle the television can be viewed from a side of the room.
