Pixel Plus is a technology of image processing exclusively for Philips LCDs.

First of all, lets have a look on the benefits by having a Philips LCD that has this feature:

How does it work?
First of all, Pixel Plus increase the amount of lines and pixels (single points that you can see on the screen if you watch very closely). Also the quality of the pixels will be improved by Pixel Plus. That result in more complex pixels and that helps to have a better tv image, more details.

Which forms of Pixel plus are available?

For years, Philips kept improving this unique feature and until now, there are 4 main forms of Pixel Plus
- Pixel Plus (1)
- Pixel Plus 2, improve the resolution up to 30 %
- Pixel Plus 3, The first pixel plus that can improve the resolution of 720p and 1080i (High Definition resolution)
- Pixel Plus HD, a continuation of Pixel Plus but now this type can also improve resolution of 1080p
